Wild's Andrew Hammond: Summoned to active roster

Hammond was promoted from the taxi squad to the active roster Friday.

Hammond has not made an NHL appearance during any of his previous three stints on the active roster. The 33-year-old has gone 6-1-2 with a 2.09 GAA and a .919 save percentage over nine appearances with AHL Iowa this season. Hammond will likely continue to bounce between the taxi squad and active roster until Cam Talbot (lower body) is cleared to play.
