Wild's David Jiricek: Sent down to minors

Jiricek was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Thursday.

Jiricek's demotion leaves the Wild with just 22 players on the roster ahead of a four-game road trip that kicks off against the Capitals on Friday. It's possible the team adds a player to the NHL roster before it departs for the road, perhaps Matt Kiersted or Benjamin Gleason.
