  • Kaprizov scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist and went plus-3 in Monday's 6-2 win over the Sharks. Kaprizov had a hand in Mats Zuccarello's game-tying goal in the first period before scoring one of his own just 11 seconds later. Their line with Victor Rask combined for nine points in the game. Kaprizov is up to four goals, 13 points, 26 shots on net and a plus-6 rating in 15 contests. The Russian winger hasn't gone more than two games without a point -- this high level of consistency makes the rookie a strong player in fantasy.

Saturday marked Kaprizov's second multi-point outing of the year -- his first came in the season opener when he had a goal and two helpers. He's been a relatively steady source of offense with three tallies, eight assists, 24 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 14 appearances.

  • Kaprizov scored a power-play goal on two shots in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Avalanche. Kaprizov got the Wild on the board at 13:05 of the second period, but that was all they could muster against Philipp Grubauer. It was the third goal of the season for Kaprizov, who is up to nine points, a plus-4 rating and 17 shots on goal through 11 contests. Fantasy managers who took a chance on the hyped Russian winger should be pleased with his scoring production so far, and he should remain in the Calder Trophy conversation throughout the season.
