Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse is in the midst of its third season with all of the action taking place in the Washington D.C. area. The league boasts talent such as United States National Team members Kayla Treanor, Michelle Tumolo, Caylee Waters, Emily Garrity, and Amanda Johansen

The league has a unique format in that there are different rosters on a weekly basis. Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse holds a draft prior to the week's games and the top four players serve as the captains each week. As far as the scoring system goes, each player can win or lose points during very single game. In addition, players score points as individuals while also earning points as a team in order to win MVP titles and performance bonuses.

Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse features 10-on-10 play to go along with four eight-minute quarters and a 60-second shot clock. The action is played on a 90-yard by 60-yard playing field and there are face-offs at the beginning of each quarter in addition to after every goal.

The Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse season is limited to just five weeks and takes place in one city from July 23 to Aug. 22.
