Cristiano Ronaldo is Real Madrid's all-time leading goal scorer with 324 goals, according to the club

Ronaldo passed Raul at 323 with his brace against Malmo on Wednesday. It was believed that Ronaldo had tied Raul with his two goals in the contest, but the club tweeted that Ronaldo does indeed have the record. Here is that goal.

Goal tracking is not an easy task, as in the past some players have asked for all goals to be included, like Romario, who reached 1,000 goals by including youth matches, friendlies and more. But for Real Madrid, this is for official matches for Ronaldo.

Raul reached out to the player after the match.

"I really admire Raul. After the match he sent me a message congratulating me," Ronaldo told the club's website.

"I'm very happy. It's a unique and special moment. I want to thank my teammates for helping me get this record. Breaking the record at the world's biggest club is an honor for me."
