Police: UFC champ Jon Jones facing felony charge after hit-and-run
Things continue to get worse for UFC champion Jon Jones as he is now facing a felony charge for leaving the scene of an accident Sunday, according to authorities.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is facing felony charges for leaving the scene of a crime after an alleged hit-and-run accident Sunday in Albuquerque, N.M., ESPN.com reports.
Jones' vehicle allegedly hit a pregnant woman's car early Sunday morning and the woman suffered a broken arm in the accident, according to Albuquerque Police. Jones originally was wanted for questioning Sunday for his involvement in the incident, but now faces charges after it was confirmed she suffered injuries.
"The preliminary statement that the woman suffered 'non-serious' injury was not entirely accurate," Police Department spokesperson Tanner Tixier said. "She did suffer a broken arm. That is confirmed."
A witness to the accident saw a man fitting Jones' description strike the vehicle attempt to leave the scene before returning to grab a "large handful of cash," according to the police report.
The vehicle in question has been identified as a rental car which also had a marijuana pipe inside.
Jones is scheduled to defend his title May 23 vs. Anthony Johnson.
