The ending to the NASCAR Truck Series race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on Sunday had pretty much everything you could hope for.

Not only was an incredibly close race that ended with a photo finish, but the top two finishers also decided to beat the crap out of each other after the race.

You may be asking yourself what led to this mayhem.

Cole Custer led for 39 laps before the very end of the race, when John Hunter Nemechek made his move. The problem was, Nemechek's move involved riding Custer's bumper and pushing him off the track into the guardrail.

On the verge of crashing as they crossed the finish line, Nemechek finished just 0.034 seconds head of Custer to take the win.

"We didn't wreck him for the win. Rubbin' is racin'," Nemechek said. "If I had been in the same spot, he would have done the same thing to me to get a win. You have to do everything you can to get a win here."

Needless to say, Custer didn't share his view.

"We had a really fast truck. We got taken out," Custer said. "He hit me going into the second-to-last corner, and he hit me again. I don't know what else to do. But that's how it is, I guess."

If this is what all NASCAR Truck Series events are like, sign me up.
