No. 1 Serena Williams got tested in Round 3 of the US Open Friday by fellow American Bethanie Mattek-Sands, but took control late in the second set and dominated the third on her way to a 3-6, 7-5, 6-0 victory.
In that third set, Williams dominated and had one of the iconic shots of the tournament when she hit a forehand and went straight into a split and celebration.

This was the fourth time in four grand slams that she's dropped the first set in her third round match -- obviously she won the prior three as well.
If Williams goes on to win the US Open this year and complete the calendar grand slam, expect this shot and split celebration to become one of the lasting images of her accomplishment.
