Jamie Donaldson joins Bo Van Pelt in the "golfers who will not be playing round two of the PGA Championship" category. Donaldson withdrew on Friday morning with a back injury.
He shot an 80 (as did Van Pelt) in the first round. Donaldson and Van Pelt were two of five golfers to shoot in the 80s on Thursday.
The withdraw is Donaldson's first ever on the PGA Tour and first ever at a major. He finished T7 at last year's PGA Championship.
