White Sox shortstop Alexei Ramirez went 1 for 6 with a two-run home run in his team's 6-4, 14-inning loss to the Red Sox Wednesday.
The sixth-inning home run extended Ramirez's hitting streak to 15 games to open the season, matching the season-opening mark set by Hall of Famer Frank Thomas. The shortstop has hit .390/.438/.661 with four home runs and 14 RBI in 59 at-bats.
