Athletics' Coco Crisp undergoes arthroscopic elbow surgery

Athletics center fielder Coco Crisp had two chips taken out of his elbow and had the back of his elbow cleaned up in a surgical procedure, trainer Nick Paparesta told reporters, per the San Francisco Chronicle.

Typical recovery time for arthroscopic elbow surgery is six-to-eight weeks. The Athletics will have a better idea of his timetable in 10-14 days, per the Chronicle.
