Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford could begin a rehab assignment this weekend, MLB.com reports.

Crawford is working his way back from an ankle injury that has kept him sidelined since late May. He's been able to ramp up baseball activities over the past week, and if he continues to progress, he could see game action soon. Crawford has hit .267/.293/.400 with four home runs, 18 RBI and nine stolen bases in 150 at-bats.
