Former Marlins closer Juan Carlos Oviedo is scheduled to throw an inning of work for the Class A Jupiter Hammerheads on Monday, according to The Palm Beach Post

It'll be the first game action of the year for Oviedo, who was suspended eight weeks for identity fraud after it was revealed that he was not, in fact, Leo Nunez.

In 64.1 innings in 2011, Oviedo registered 36 saves, a total good for sixth in the National League. He struck out 55 batters, and the opposition hit .235 against him.

Oviedo is on schedule to return to the Marlins on July 23, and will put pressure on current Marlins closer Heath Bell, who has struggled mightily all season. Bell does have 19 saves, but his ERA is a sky-high 6.75, and opponents have hit him to the tune of a .307 average. Bell's 5.19 walk rate is well above his 3.15 career mark.

At this point, Bell simply can't be trusted, and manager Ozzie Guillen knows it. In terms of what Oviedo's impending return means to the Marlins, Guillen said it's "the biggest trade of the year."
