LOOK: These Cubs fans have waited a lifetime to witness a World Series title
The curse finally snapped, and boy were the reactions amazing
On Wednesday night, the Chicago Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians in Game 7 of the 2016 World Series. The Cubs' victory netted them their first championship since 1908 -- a 108-year drought that transcended baseball and sports and permeated pop culture and the Chicago way of living and thinking.
While all Cubs fans basked in the afterglow of a championship victory, those who have the most emotional interest accrued deserve special attention. As such, let's take a look at some of the best photos and videos featuring older Cubs fans celebrating a moment they thought would never arrive.
