Mets infielder Juan Uribe will not play in NLDS vs. Dodgers

Mets infielder Juan Uribe (chest/ribs) has been ruled out of the NLDS, The Wall Street Journal reports.

This designation seemed likely considering Uribe hasn't been able to play much since suffering a chest injury diving for a ball Sept. 20. He hasn't been ruled out for future rounds if the Mets advance, but it's unlikely the 36-year-old will be used as anything more than a pinch-hitter at this point in the season.
