Nationals relief pitcher Tanner Roark worked a nearly perfect ninth inning in Washington's 6-4 win over the Marlins on Monday, picking up his first save of the year.
Roark struck out two of the four batters he faced and left Dee Gordon stranded at first base after a single. Roark lowered his ERA to 3.21 three strikeouts in 14 innings of work this season.
