Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz will accept a 50 game suspension due to his involvement in the Biogenesis scandal, according to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman.
There was some question over whether Cruz would appeal the suspension, but he has reportedly changed his mind. The only player expected to appeal the suspensions is Alex Rodriguez. Cruz is hitting .269/.330/.511 in 409 at-bats.
