Could a performance by the mighty "Thor" in the next Amy Schumer comedy blockbuster top that of "The King" in the hit film "Trainwreck"? Rookie right-hander Noah Syndergaard of the Mets is looking into it, to the point of petitioning Schumer herself on Twitter.

Her reply, a variation of "Let's go Mets!," was not "no."

It worked out great with LeBron James, who co-starred quite ably in "Trainwreck," a comedy smash that showed a surprisingly able thespian side to James, whose previous work had been confined mostly to his own commercials, an "Entourage" episode and a "SpongeBob" spot.

He might be related to Holger Syndergaard, but he can't claim his work!

Syndergaard really must work in a "Law and Order: SVU" somehow, if he wants to join a Judd Apatow-type dealie. Meanwhile, Syndergaard is the best rookie pitcher in the NL this season. That should be enough for him while his second career as an actor percolates.
