Phillies reliever Elvis Araujo left Thursday's game against the Mets with a left groin strain. Araujo started the 11th inning with the score tied 5-5. He walked the first batter to face him, and then suffered the injury while throwing his first pitch to the second batter of the inning. He immediately left the game with the trainer.
The Phillies have not announced how long they expect the left-hander to be sidelined for.
