Pirates 1B Corey Hart expects to make spring debut by Monday

Pirates first baseman Corey Hart suffered a laceration on his foot near the arch when he stepped on a loose hot tub filter, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Hart, however, expects to make his spring debut by Monday.

Manager Clint Hurdle revealed Monday that Hart needed three stitches to close the wound. He also mentioned Hart would be sidelined for a few days.
