Starlin Castro runs bases Thursday, on track for opener

Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro ran the bases Thursday and is on track to be in the lineup for the regular-season opener, ESPNChicago.com reports.

Castro is expected to get into a game within the next few days, and he'll need a good week of camp to be fully ready to go for his team's opener on March 31. He has been hampered by a hamstring injury this spring.
