Twins option Chris Herrmann to Triple-A

The Twins announced Friday night that catcher Chris Herrmann has been optioned to Triple-A Rochester, clearing a 25-man roster spot for Trevor Plouffe. Herrmann went 6 for 13 with a home run and four RBI with the Twins and returns to a .238/.311/.285 line in 151 Triple-A at-bats.
