Twins pitcher Tim Stauffer will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Rochester Tuesday, the team announced.
Stauffer was placed on the disabled list on May 1 due to a right intercostal strain. He has made eight appearances with the Twins, posting an 8.38 ERA and 2:6 K:BB ratio in 9 2/3 innings.
