Tragedy struck Jean Segura and his family last weekend, when his 9-month-old son passed away back home in the Dominican Republic. Segura left the Brewers immediately to return home.
After missing a few games and spending the All-Star break with his family, Segura returned to the team and the starting lineup on Friday night. The Brewers were in Washington to open a series with the Nationals, and the fans at Nationals Park gave him a warm ovation before his first at-bat. Here's the video:
