Royals manager Ned Yost said during the team's television broadcast Tuesday that pitcher Yordano Ventura is dealing with valgus stress overload, Yahoo! Sports reports.

The MRI on Ventura's elbow came back clean earlier Tuesday, and he is expected to miss just one start. However, the new development could lead to further issues down the road.
