AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell18M agoEvery postseason exit hurts. For the Padres, this one will hurt most of all because of what could have been. https://t.co/utyYFXMoxM -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell34M agoRT @SlangsOnSports: This Brewers/Padres NLDS is the second series of at least 3 games in postseason history where neither team led by more… -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell41M agoFinal: Brewers 3, Padres 1 The Padres' season ends with an NLDS loss to Milwaukee in four games. The margins were agonizingly thin. That'll only make the hurt worse. Three straight trips to the postseason, without advancing past the Division Series. -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell1H agoJoe Musgrove pitches a 1-2-3 eighth inning and roars as he comes off the mound. Petco Park is buzzing again. For the first time I can recall, they're playing All The Small Things with the Padres trailing. They have two innings to score two runs and save their season. -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell2H agoMason Miller is on for the seventh inning. The Padres are going to ask him for as much as he can give them. It's not going to matter if they don't start hitting. The Brewers lead 3-1 after 6. -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell2H agoMason Miller is throwing in the Padres' bullpen. They trail 3-1 in the sixth. -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell4H agoI have no idea why. But Joey Ortiz did not throw to first base after stepping on third for what would've been a surefire inning-ending double play. And now the Padres have the bases loaded. -
Kevin Acee@sdutKevinAcee7H agoRT @sdutSanders: #Padres pregame: Mason Miller activated, hopeful for Adrian Morejon, lineups and pitching matchup for Game 4 of the NLDS… -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell7H agoThe Millers did not have the game on. Mason’s wife was giving birth as it happened. He needed to be present. He found out shortly after the game ended from the midwife, who happened to be a Padres fan. “Who got the save, Morejon?” Miller recalled asking. -
AJ Cassavell@AJCassavell9H agoThe Padres expect Mason Miller to be available today, Craig Stammen says. Adrian Morejon’s status will be evaluated, as it was yesterday, pregame.
