Top Endrys Briceno News

  • Angels' Endrys Briceno: MiLB pact from Halos

The Angels signed Briceno to a minor-league contract Dec. 5.

Briceno, who turns 33 in February, pitched in independent ball in 2024, striking out 84 across 52.1 innings for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League. The righty reliever is likely headed to the Triple-A Salt Lake bullpen to begin 2025.

  • Tigers' Endrys Briceno: Agrees to minor-league deal

Briceno re-signed a minor-league contract with the Tigers.

Briceno worked as both a starter and reliever for High-A Lakeland, posting a 3.59 ERA across 57.2 innings. Despite a solid season, the 26-year-old has never been promoted past High-A, and is a long shot to ever see big-league action. For now, he will add organizational depth to the Tigers farm system.
