  • Tigers' Cristian Santana: Playing again at Single-A

Santana (undisclosed) has gone 1-for-14 with three walks, a run and a stolen base in four games since he was reinstated from Single-A Lakeland's 7-day injured list Thursday.

Santana was cleared to make his first appearances for Lakeland in just over a month after completing a two-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League earlier last week. One of the youngest players at a full-season minor-league affiliate, the 18-year-old shortstop is hitting .136 with three home runs and three stolen bases in 109 plate appearances at Lakeland.

  • Tigers' Cristian Santana: Rehabbing in FCL

Santana (undisclosed) began a rehab assignment Monday with the Tigers' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate and has gone 1-for-5 with a home run and four walks in his first two games of his assignment.

Santana opened the season at Single-A Lakeland, but he's been on the shelf for about a month with the unspecified injury. Assuming he avoided any setbacks in his FCL rehab games, he could be ready to rejoin Lakeland by the end of the week.

  • Tigers' Cristian Santana: Out with undisclosed injury

Santana is on the 7-day injured list at Single-A Lakeland with an undisclosed injury.

He has not played since May 7, and it is unclear what has caused the absence. Santana struggled in his first taste of full-season ball, hitting .149/.289/.284 with a 27:13 K:BB and three home runs in 21 games before suffering the injury.
