Michael King was excellent, but allowed a run after Xander Bogaerts' throwing error. They hadn't been shut out all season, but Padres have now gone scoreless in two straight. -

Rough ending to a 2-4 trip through HOU and DET. Back to SD where the Rays visit for three games, beginning Friday.
