LeBron James scores 31 points while debuting new mask

Heat forward LeBron James (nose) played with a black, carbon fiber protective mask on Thursday and still managed to score a game-high 31 points in a 108-82 home victory over the Knicks.

James shot 13 of 19 from the floor, including 1 of 2 from downtown, and 4 of 6 from the free throw line. He also contributed with four rebounds and four assists while logging 37 minutes of game action. He is averaging 32.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.0 assists over his last five games.
