Injuries and regression to the mean have seemed to slow Golden State Warriors' superstar Stephen Curry in his quest for setting the 3-pointers made record he now seems to set every season. Last season, Curry knocked down a record 286 3-pointers on his way to winning MVP and continuing to establish himself as the greatest shooter of all time. This season, he's blowing this record out of the water.

After 31 points and four 3-pointers made Monday night against the Miami Heat, Curry is on pace for 368 made 3-pointers this season. For much of the season, Curry was up around 400 makes as his projection, but the shin injury which cost him two games and a couple of "slow" nights in which he only made two 3-pointers have slowed that pace enough to drop him well below the absurd 400 makes projection. Here's the latest look at our Curry 3-point Tracker:

38 games into this season and he's made 50 more 3-pointers than he had at this point last season, and that includes two extra games last season. In order to get back over the 400-make projection, Curry would have to start making about 5.3 3-pointers per game over the next 44 games. For now, we have to just settle for him being projected to break the 3-point record by a measly 82 3's right now.

He's currently projected to break his own record in the 63rd game of the season against the Utah Jazz on March 9.

He's still the best show in the NBA right now.
