Breanna Stewart, Sue Bird and the Seattle Storm are WNBA champions. The Storm took care of business on Wednesday night, winning Game 3 of the 2018 WNBA Finals, 98-82 to complete the sweep of the Washington Mystics. Stewart led all scorers with 30 points, while Natasha Howard kept up her strong play by adding 29 points and 14 rebounds. Bird, meanwhile, finished with 10 points and 10 assists.
Stewart, who also won the regular season MVP Award, was named Finals MVP for her impressive performance in the series. She averaged 25.6 points and six rebounds over the three games. This is the third time in WNBA history that a player has won both MVP Awards.
This is the third title for the Storm, who were also champions in 2004 and 2010.
