Harden recorded 16 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), four rebounds and eight assists over 25 minutes during Friday's 137-125 victory over the Spurs. The 76ers have now won nine of their past 10 games. Harden appeared to tweak his elbow right before halftime but didn't seem bothered at all in the second half, to the relief of his fantasy managers. He'll get a matchup against the Knicks on Sunday in what should be a bounce-back spot for him after taking a backseat to Joel Embiid on Friday.... See More ... See Less

76ers' James Harden: Just misses triple-double Wednesday
Harden racked up 26 points (7-13 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 10 assists, nine rebounds and one steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 105-94 win over the Magic. The 26 points were Harden's highest total since he poured in 31 against the Jazz on Jan. 14, while he fell one board shy of his fifth triple-double of the season. While his scoring has taken a dip lately, Harden's dished double-digit assists in nine of his last 12 games, averaging 19.8 points, 11.3 assists, 7.2 rebounds and 3.3 threes over that stretch.... 76ers' James Harden: Double-double in win over Denver
Harden posted 17 points (5-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds and 13 assists over 36 minutes during Saturday's 126-119 win over the Nuggets. Joel Embiid carried the scoring load for the 76ers with 47 points, and Harden found plenty of success feeding the big man the ball while being one of five Philly players to chip in with points in the teens. The double-double was his 20th of the season, and he's dished double-digit dimes in eight of his last 10 games, averaging 19.4 points, 11.9 assists, 6.9 boards and 3.0 threes over that stretch.... 76ers' James Harden: Hits five threes in win
Harden finished with 23 points (6-12 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 137-133 win over Brooklyn. Harden got off to a slow start with just seven first-half points on 1-of-4 shooting from the field to go along with four assists and two rebounds. The shooting guard found his rhythm in the second half, however, knocking down five of eight field-goal attempts for 16 points while dishing another three assists to help Philadelphia win its sixth straight. After going just 1-of-8 from three over the Sixers' previous two games, Harden connected on 5-of-10 shots from beyond the arc Wednesday and snapped his two-game streak of scoring fewer than 20 points.... 76ers' James Harden: Off injury report
Harden (foot) is off the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Nets. After taking Sunday's game against the Kings off for rest, Harden will be back Wednesday. With Joel Embiid (foot) questionable, Harden's presence could be more critical than usual. This month, he's averaging 20.7 points, 11.5 assists and 7.0 rebounds in 34.5 minutes.... See More ... 76ers' James Harden: Out Saturday
Harden (foot) is out Saturday against the Kings, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Harden is taking the night off for injury management, which should lead to more minutes for Shake Milton and De'Anthony Melton. Tyrese Maxey also figures to take on more playmaking duties, especially if Joel Embiid (foot) is out.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Dealing with foot strain
Harden is questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings due to injury management for a tendon strain in his right foot. Harden posted a triple-double (16 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds) in 34 minutes during Thursday's win over Portland, but he apparently picked up a foot strain in the process. The severity of the issue remains unclear, but if the star point guard is sidelined, expect Tyrese Maxey, Shake Milton and Matisse Thybulle to handle increased roles.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Posts balanced triple-double in win
Harden notched 16 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and 14 assists in 34 minutes during Thursday's 105-95 victory over Portland. Joel Embiid worked as the centerpiece of the Sixers' offense with 32 points Thursday, but Harden starred as the team's leading rebounder and distributor while scoring 16 points on just 11 field-goal attempts. The bearded guard finished with his fourth triple-double of the campaign, three of which have come over his past seven contests. Harden seems to be comfortable deferring to Embiid for scoring -- his 14.8 field-goal attempts per game is his lowest mark since the 2011-12 campaign -- but the benefit lies in Harden's assist numbers, as his 11.2 dimes per contest is on pace to equal the career-high mark he set with Houston in 2016-17.... 76ers' James Harden: Lackluster results in win
Harden had six points (1-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 120-110 victory over the Clippers. Harden has been on a tear for the 76ers recently, as he posted double-doubles in each of his six appearances prior to Tuesday's matchup and averaged 22.0 points, 12.7 assists and 8.2 rebounds in 33.0 minutes per game over that stretch. However, he was inefficient from the floor Tuesday and was held to single-digit points for the first time this season. Given Harden's recent performances, it wouldn't be surprising to see him bounce back Thursday against the Trail Blazers.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Plays effectively through heel pain
Harden (heel) registered 24 points (9-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 assists, seven rebounds, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Sunday's 113-112 win over the Lakers. Listed as questionable heading into the night with left heel pain, Harden proceeded to play Sunday and didn't seem to be exhibiting any effects of the injury. Harden has yet to miss a game in January, but given his history of lower-body injuries, it's possible head coach Doc Rivers looks to build in a rest day for the star point guard the next time the 76ers encounter a back-to-back set. Harden will get a fortunate break in the schedule with the 76ers getting at least one day off ahead of each of their next three games during the upcoming week, so expect him to play in all of those contests, barring a setback with the heel.... 76ers' James Harden: Starting Sunday
Harden (heel) is starting Sunday's game against the Lakers, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports. Harden was questionable for Sunday's game due to left heel pain, but he'll be able to play through the issue in the second half of a back-to-back set. He's posted double-doubles in his last five appearances and has averaged 21.6 points, 12.6 assists and 8.4 rebounds in 32.4 minutes per game during that time.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Iffy for Sunday
Harden is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lakers with left heel pain. Harden's availability for the second half of a back-to-back set is in jeopardy after he emerged from Saturday's 118-117 win over the Jazz with the heel issue. If Harden is nursing an injury, it hasn't been evident in his play lately; he's averaging 21.6 points, 12.6 assists, 8.4 rebounds, 3.4 three-pointers and 0.8 steals in 32.4 minutes per game over his last five appearances while shooting 48.6 percent from the field. Shake Milton and Tyrese Maxey will likely handle most of the ball-handling duties if Harden ends up being ruled out ahead of Sunday's 9:30 p.m. ET opening tip.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Paces team with 31 points
Harden chipped in 31 points (11-19 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 assists and six rebounds in 38 minutes during Saturday's 118-117 win over the Jazz. Harden was highly efficient in the win, leading the way with a team-high scoring haul. He also added 11 assists, topping double-digit dimes for the fifth consecutive game. While his scoring numbers have been solid, Saturday's contest was actually the first time he has scored more than 30 points since the second game of the season. He appears locked in as a first-round fantasy talent as he strives for an elusive NBA title.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Strong from deep in double-double
Harden chipped in 24 points (6-13 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds, 15 assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Thursday's 133-114 loss to the Thunder. Harden led the team in threes and assists en route to a double-double showing in Thursday's loss. Harden has tallied at least 15 points and 10 assists in four straight games, also connecting on three or more threes in three of those games.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Second straight triple-double
Harden chipped in 16 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 15 assists, 12 rebounds and two steals across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 147-116 win over the Pistons. Joel Embiid returned from a foot injury Tuesday, but that didn't slow Harden down at all as he recorded back-to-back triple-doubles for the first time as a Sixer. The 33-year-old isn't the scoring threat he once was, with his 21.8 points per game this season being his lowest average since 2011-12, but Harden's on pace to average double-digit assists for the third straight campaign.... 76ers' James Harden: Triple-double showing in win
Harden recorded 20 points (7-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, 11 assists and one block in 28 minutes during Sunday's 123-111 win over the Pistons. Harden led the team in assists en route to a 20-point triple-double Sunday. Harden has now tallied two triple-doubles this season and finished with at least 15 points, 10 assists and five rebounds in back-to-back games.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Leads Sixers in points and assists
Harden accumulated 26 points (8-20 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 8-10 FT), six rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal in 43 minutes during Wednesday's 129-126 overtime win over the Pacers. Harden knocked down only four of 10 field goal attempts in the first half but still racked up 16 points thanks to 8-of-8 shooting from the free-throw line. He added another 10 points in the second half on 4-of-7 shooting before going scoreless in the overtime period. The 76ers guard scored a game-high 26 points in the contest while also dishing out a team-high eight assists. Harden has now reached the 20-point mark in six straight games and has shot at least 10 free throws in four of his last five appearances.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Off Monday's injury report
Harden (foot) isn't listed on the injury report for Monday's game versus the Pelicans. Harden is set to return after taking his first game off Saturday since Dec. 2 in the second game of a back-to-back set. He should retake his spot in the starting lineup alongside either Tyrese Maxey or De'Anthony Melton in the backcourt.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Out Saturday
Harden (foot) will not play in Saturday's matchup with the Thunder, Steve McGehee of News 9 Oklahoma City reports. Harden will sit out Saturday's closing leg of a back-to-back set with a right foot strain. With Tyrese Maxey (rest) also absent, the backcourt will be left to De'Anthony Melton and Shake Milton. Harden's next opportunity to take the floor will come Monday against the Pelicans.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' James Harden: Questionable Saturday
Harden is questionable for Saturday's game with a right foot tendon strain and injury management. Harden's "injury management" designation is likely referring to the possibility he could sit Saturday, as it is the second leg of a back-to-back. If the star guard is ruled out, Shake Milton and De'Anthony Melton will likely receive extended minutes.... See More ... See Less
