  • Glenn Robinson: Waived by Kings

Robinson was waived by the Kings on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Robinson appeared in 23 games for the Kings -- his third team in the last two seasons -- and averaged 5.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 16.0 minutes. He made a pair of starts earlier in the month amid some frontcourt injuries but had missed the team's three most recent games due to a combination of a knee injury and a personal matter. Robinson will now become a free agent, while the Kings will have an open roster spot to fill.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Dealing with personal matter

Robinson is tending to a personal matter and is currently away from the Kings, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

A knee issue kept Robinson out of Saturday night's loss to Chicago, and he did not join the team on the trip to Milwaukee for Sunday's contest. It's unclear how long he'll remain away, but considering the COVID-19 protocol implications, Robinson figures to miss multiple games.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Ruled out Sunday

Robinson (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bucks.

Robinson will miss a second consecutive game due to a knee issue. It's not yet clear when he could return, but Nemanja Bjelica and DaQuan Jeffries could see increased run in his absence.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Listed as questionable

Robinson (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bucks, Dennis Krause of Spectrum 1 News reports.

Robinson missed Saturday's game due to a knee issue and his status for Sunday's game is still unclear. Robinson didn't do a ton in his second start of the season last Thursday against Miami, posting four points and nine rebounds to go along with a steal across 23 minutes.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Out Saturday

Robinson (knee) is out Saturday against the Bulls, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

After picking up a start Thursday, Robinson will be sidelined Saturday due to a knee injury. With Harrison Barnes (foot) also out, Nemanja Bjelica and DaQuan Jeffries could see more action than usual.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Questionable Saturday

Robinson is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Bulls due to a knee injury, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.

Robinson presumably picked up the injury in Thursday's game against the Heat, in which he drew his second start of the season. More clarity on his status for Saturday should come closer to tip-off.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Second start of season

Robinson is in the starting five for Thursday's game against the Heat, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Robinson's last start came Feb. 12, when he played 22 minutes and scored three points against the Magic. However, he hasn't done too much even when given increased opportunity. In his last seven games, Robinson has only scored five points on a single occasion.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Quiet in 22 minutes

Robinson had four points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist in Monday's loss to the Nets.

Robinson has returned to the rotation of late, but he hasn't done much with the increased opportunity. Over his last seven appearances, Robinson is averaging 3.6 points and 1.4 rebounds in 13.9 minutes.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Drops out of rotation

Robinson (coach's decision) didn't see the court Monday in the Kings' 118-109 win over the Pelicans.

Robinson hasn't played in either of the Kings' last two contests with head coach Luke Walton rolling out eight- or nine-man rotations the past two games. Sacramento's decision to marginalize Robinson is somewhat surprising, given that he's converted at a career-high 42.4 percent rate from three-point land this season.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Makes impact off bench in loss

Robinson scored 14 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), grabbed two rebounds and dished two assists across 21 minutes in Wednesday's 115-96 loss to the Clippers.

Robinson not only paced Kings reserves with his 14 points, he also outscored all Sacramento starters aside from De'Aaron Fox. It was a much-needed effort from the veteran forward after he had failed to register double-digit scoring in each of his previous four contests. Robinson logged a season-low eight minutes his last time out, but Wednesday's effort may help him maintain a prominent bench role moving forward.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Scores five off bench

Robinson finished with five points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), and one board in Sunday's 128-123 loss to the Pelicans.

Robinson saw his lowest minute total of the year in the contest, as he turned in his fourth straight game without reaching a double-digit point total. He'll face the Clippers on Wednesday where he'll once again be in a reserve role.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Hits double figures off bench

Robinson posted 14 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes Wednesday in the Kings' 128-124 win over the Bulls.

The scoring total was a new season high for Robinson, one of three Kings reserves to hit double figures in points. The potential absence of De'Aaron Fox -- who exited early Wednesday due to a hamstring tightness -- may leave some extra shots and minutes up for grabs among the Kings' supporting cast, but Robinson is unlikely to see enough of a boost to be a useful fantasy option outside of deeper leagues.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Totals eight points Monday

Robinson scored eight points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and grabbed two rebounds in a loss to the Warriors on Monday.

Robinson tied his season high with eight points in the blowout loss, doing most of his damage from the charity stripe. The veteran hasn't been able to establish much of a role in his first season with Sacramento, sitting out three games and averaging only 5.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in the contests during which he has seen the court.

  • Kings' Glenn Robinson: Catches on with Kings

Robinson agreed Monday with the Kings on a one-year, minimum deal, Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports reports.

The 26-year-old turned in a career-best season in 2019-20, splitting time between the Warriors and 76ers and finishing with averages of 11.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 three-pointers in 28.8 minutes per game. Perhaps more impressively, Robinson was efficient as a scorer with 48.6/86.0/39.1 percent shooting splits from the field, free-throw line and three-point range, respectively. The Kings won't be relying on him to play heavy minutes like he did during his time with the Warriors last season, but he should be locked into a key role on the team's second unit.

  • 76ers' Glenn Robinson: Out at least a week

Robinson was diagnosed Sunday with a left oblique strain, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. He'll be sidelined for at least 7-to-10 days.

The 76ers ruled Robinson out with a hip injury for their final two games of the regular season last week, but after further evaluation, doctors determined the swingman is dealing with a core-muscle issue. He'll now be in line to miss at least the first few games of the 76ers' opening-round playoff series against the Celtics, at a minimum. Robinson appeared in two games at the NBA bubble in Orlando before the injury surfaced, averaging 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.5 triples in 21.0 minutes between the contests.

  • 76ers' Glenn Robinson: Out vs. Houston

Robinson (hip) won't play Friday against the Rockets, Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Robinson will miss a second straight game due to hip soreness, but it's possible he's mostly sitting out of an abundance of caution, as the 76ers are already locked into a playoff matchup against the Celtics that starts Monday. In Robinson's place, we could see extra minutes for Matisse Thybulle, Alec Burks and Furkan Korkmaz.

  • 76ers' Glenn Robinson: Questionable vs. Houston

Robinson (hip) is questionable for Friday's game against Houston.

A late scratch from Wednesday's contest due to a hip pointer, Robinson will wait to see how it feels Friday morning before a decision is made on his status.
