  • Chris Walker: Comes close to double-double

Walker delivered 14 points (2-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT), eight rebounds, a steal and a block across 28 minutes off the bench in Thursday's loss to Raptors 905.

The Charge were extremely shorthanded Thursday, with only eight players available and seven taking the floor, translating to more minutes and significant roles for players that regularly come off the bench or have limited on-court time. Walker took advantage of the opportunity and looked active on both ends of the court, but he's expected to remain in a minor role in the future.

  • Chris Walker: Goes for 13 off bench

Walker notched 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, four blocks, two assists and a steal across 25 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 122-93 loss against the Mad Ants.

Walker has played a minor role off the bench for the Charge this season, and while he broke out here with an efficient scoring outing and tied his season-high mark in points, it might have been due to the fact that he needed to play more than usual due to how shorthanded the team was. Walker might enjoy a bigger role in coming games compared to the start of the season, but he is not expected to play a consistent role on offense on a long-term basis.

  • Chris Walker: Stellar outing in limited action

Walker totaled 11 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 15 minutes during Wednesday's 111-103 loss to the Memphis Hustle.

Walker, who started the season with the Long Island Nets, appeared in just his second game with the Wolves after being acquired by Iowa at the end of January. The 27-year-old made quite the impression in his second appearance, totaling season highs in points and rebounds en route to his first double-double of the 2021-22 campaign. He played just 15 minutes during the contest, but if he can maintain that type of production, he's likely in store for an uptick in playing time.
