    Newman is dealing with an undisclosed injury that will force him to miss the remainder of the season, Evan Dammarell of SBNation.com reports. Newman played a prominent role for the Charge during the 2021-22 campaign, and he averaged 19.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 31.4 minutes per game. The nature of his injury isn't yet clear, but he'll be unable to return this season.
