  • 76ers' Johni Broome: Plays career-high 17 minutes

Broome ended with four points (2-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 17 minutes during Tuesday's 144-103 loss to the Magic. Broome took advantage of the lopsided scoreline, as he was called upon to play meaningful minutes down the stretch. Coming off a stellar college career, the rookie second-rounder has been unable to carve out a consistent role in Philadelphia. At this point, there is no indication he will feature on a nightly basis moving forward.

  • 76ers' Johni Broome: Back with Philadelphia

The 76ers recalled Broome from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Saturday. Broome is coming off a season-high 30-point outburst during the Blue Coats' 113-111 loss to the Maine Celtics during Friday's G League contest, along with 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 34 minutes. The rookie second-rounder could be available off the 76ers' bench for Sunday's game against the Heat, though he hasn't seen NBA regular-season action since Nov. 5 against the Cavaliers, when he played just one minute.

  • 76ers' Johni Broome: Assigned to G League

The 76ers assigned Broome to the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Thursday, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Broome will rejoin the Blue Coats ahead of Friday's game against the Maine Celtics. The rookie second-rounder has totaled only six minutes over two appearances with the parent club this season, and he'll likely continue bouncing between the G League and NBA.

  • 76ers' Johni Broome: Returns from G League

The 76ers recalled Broome from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Saturday. Broome joined the Blue Coats for Saturday's loss to the Greensboro Swarm, posting 26 points (9-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds and four blocks in 30 minutes. The rookie has appeared in two G League games thus far, averaging 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers in 25.7 minutes per contest. Though Broome isn't on a two-way deal with the 76ers, he's not a regular part of the rotation at the NBA level and could be in store for frequent visits to Delaware in 2025-26.

  • 76ers' Johni Broome: Scooped up by 76ers

Broome was selected by Philadelphia with the No. 35 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Broome is fresh off a strong senior season at Auburn, where he earned First Team All-American honors and was named the SEC Player of the Year while leading his team to a Final Four. The 6-10 big man averaged 18.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.9 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 0.9 steals over 36 appearances during his final collegiate campaign. Broome's skillset may not translate to him becoming an above-the-rim player at the NBA level, but he's an excellent offensive rebounder and manages to create space near the hoop.
