Umude amassed 19 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one block over 25 minutes during Sunday's 142-113 loss to the Raptors. The 19 points mark a new career high for Umude, and he has certainly made the most of his newfound minutes due to a plethora of injuries in Detroit. Killian Hayes (shoulder) was upgraded to probable and Jalen Duren (ankle) was upgraded to questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets, so it will be interesting to see if Umude can stay relevant.... Pistons' Stanley Umude: Impresses with 15 points
Umude produced 15 points (5-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and three rebounds across 16 minutes during Monday's 120-109 loss to the Warriors. The Pistons were missing a total of seven players Monday, most of whom are usually in the rotation. Umude made the most of his limited minutes versus Golden State and gave the coaching staff something to think about. Fantasy managers will want to keep tabs on Umude the next time Detroit is shorthanded.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Stanley Umude: Gets two-way deal
The Pistons will convert Umude's Exhibit 10 deal into a two-way contract Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. After a strong showing in training camp practices, Umude proceeded to average 9.3 points in 17.0 minutes per game over four preseason appearances while shooting 43.8 percent from three-point range. The 24-year-old joins fellow wings Malcolm Cazalon and Jared Rhoden as the Pistons' three two-way players, with the trio likely to see the majority of their playing time in the G League with the Motor City Cruise during the upcoming season. Umude got his chance to make his NBA debut last February with the Pistons while he was on a 10-day deal, logging two minutes in his lone appearance.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Stanley Umude: Makes most of opportunity
Umude delivered 18 points (4-5 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, an assist and a steal across 21 minutes off the bench in Thursday's 128-125 preseason win over the Thunder. Umude was one of three bench players who logged at least 20 minutes of action. He made the most of his playing time and ended as one of Detroit's top scorers. That said, he's buried on the depth chart and is not expected to see minutes -- or even be part of the Pistons' roster -- once the 2023-24 regular season starts.... See More ... See Less -
Stanley Umude: Top scorer against Westchester

He's averaging 15.2 points and 4.5 rebounds in 27.9 minutes per game this year.... See More ... See Less -

Umude tallied 26 points (9-18 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and an assist in 30 minutes during Thursday's 105-99 loss to the 905. Umude saw plenty of looks from beyond the arc and finished with the second-highest scoring total on the team Thursday, but he was unable to lead Motor City to the win. He's now scored 20-plus points in two of his last three appearances after failing to reach that mark over his first four regular-season outings.... See More ... See Less -

Umude was inefficient from the floor during Saturday's matchup, but he had plenty of shot volume off the bench and led the Cruise on the scoreboard while coming within one rebound of a double-double. He's now scored in double figures in four consecutive matchups and has logged 20-plus points in two of the last three games.... See More ... See Less -

Umude tallied 30 points (11-20 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 137-112 loss to the Herd. Umude was held in check with single-digit scoring totals over the last two games, but he dropped a season-high 30 points Tuesday. PistonPowered@PistonPowered10H agoIf the Pistons lose tonight they might pull off two winless months, as this is their best chance in December. Of course, they are still underdogs at home (🤦♂️) I'd bet big on Jalen Duren tonight if you are into that sort of thing... https://t.co/KUaLBwJ09u

PistonPowered@PistonPowered1D agoI applaud the fans of the Detroit Pistons. No other team this bad has fans that care this much. I wrote this before the season, but I stand by it, other than the hope part. The Pistons fandom makes this team bearable, and I've met some great people, so thanks for that. https://t.co/B8snnramol
