Pistons' Bobi Klintman: No timetable for return

Pistons' Bobi Klintman: Limited in practice
Coach J.B. Bickerstaff said Friday that Klintman is not doing full-contact parts of practices due to a calf contusion and strain, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Klintman was unable to appear during the preseason due to calf injuries, and his next chance to feature will come in the club's regular-season opener against the Pacers on Wednesday. However, the forward will likely miss the opener as the club works him back to form slowly, and even when available, he likely won't have a major role. The 21-year-old last played for Cairns in Australia, averaging 9.7 points and 4.8 rebounds across 21.7 minutes in 23 games.

Klintman signed a four-year, $7.99 million contract with the Pistons on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Klintman's rookie contract will be fully guaranteed over the first two seasons. The No. 37 overall pick played one season at Wake Forest before going over to Cairns in the NBL. During his time playing professionally for Cairns, the 21-year-old averaged 9.7 points and 4.8 rebounds across 21.7 minutes in 23 games.
