  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Almost logs G League double-double

Banton logged 21 points (8-24 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and three steals across 33 minutes during the 905's 115-112 loss to Maine on Monday. After playing two minutes Friday and sitting out entirely on Sunday, Banton was sent down from the Raptors to their G League affiliate. He immediately became the 905's main guy, leading them in points despite his inefficient scoring and almost logging a double-double.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Enters 10-man rotation Wednesday

Banton (hip) played nine minutes and provided zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in Wednesday's 131-128 loss to the Jazz. In a rare move, head coach Nick Nurse elected to expand the Raptors rotation to 10 men in a competitive game, allowing Banton to see his first minutes with Toronto since Dec. 18. Over the six weeks in between, Banton had spent time in the G League and had more recently missed games with a right hip pointer, but he was removed from the injury report Monday. He'll be a fringe member of the rotation moving forward, likely playing only when Toronto is missing one of its starters.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Available Monday

Banton is available for Monday's matchup against the Suns, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports. After missing the Raptors' past 21 games, Banton is officially active for Monday's contest against Phoenix. Prior to sustaining his hip injury, Banton was averaging 5.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 10.1 minutes over his first 22 appearances of the season.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Officially listed as questionable

Banton (hip) is questionable for Monday's matchup against the Suns, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Banton has missed 21 straight games due to a right hip pointer. Head coach Nick Nurse previously said that Banton was targeting Monday's contest as a potential return date, though it appears like his availability won't be known until game day. However, even if he's cleared, it's unclear if he'll see any playing time, as he's garnered double-digit minutes in just 10 of his 22 appearances (two starts) this season and is averaging 5.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 10.1 minutes per game.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Targeting Monday return

Head coach Nick Nurse said Banton (hip) won't play Friday against the Warriors but is targeting Monday's matchup against Phoenix as a potential return date, Kayla Grey of TSN reports. Given Nurse's comments, it sounds like Banton will miss at least two more games due to a right hip pointer, which would bring his grand total to 21 straight absences. However, the second-year guard could return Monday, though with Toronto's backcourt healthy, there may not be many minutes available for Banton when he is cleared for game action. He's played double-digit minutes in just 10 of his 22 appearances (two starts) this season and is averaging 5.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 10.1 minutes per game.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Questionable Friday

Banton (hip) is questionable for Friday's game against the Warriors. A hip bruise has kept Banton out since mid-January, but it appears he's nearing a return. That said, as long as the Raptors stay healthy, he probably won't be a regular in the rotation.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Not playing Wednesday

Banton (hip) won't play Wednesday against Sacramento, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Banton has not played since Dec. 19 and there's no clear timetable for his return. His next chance to play will come Friday at Golden State.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Considered questionable

Banton (hip) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup against the Kings, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Banton continues to deal with a right hip pointer. However, he's not a part of Toronto's regular rotation, so his potential absence shouldn't impact the Raptors' game plan.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Officially out

Banton (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Knicks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Banton remains out with a right hip pointer. He's not a part of Toronto's regular rotation, so his extended absence hasn't impacted the Raptors' game plan.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Iffy for Sunday

Banton (hip) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Knicks, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports. Banton has been sidelined for four consecutive contests with a right hip pointer. He's one of three players listed as questionable, so Toronto may be shorthanded against New York.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Ruled out Saturday

Banton (hip) will not play in Saturday's game against the Celtics, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Banton will miss a fourth consecutive contest with a contusion in his right hip. His next chance to play will come on Sunday against the Knicks.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Listed as questionable

Banton (hip) is questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Celtics. Banton has already missed three straight games with a right hip bruise. Even if he's sidelined again Saturday, it shouldn't impact Toronto's rotation much.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Unavailable Thursday

Banton (hip) won't play in Thursday's contest against Minnesota, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Banton will miss his third consecutive game Thursday as he continues to recover from a right hip bruise. The guard's absence shouldn't have much of an impact on the Raptors' rotation.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Downgraded to doubtful

Banton (hip) is now doubtful for Thursday's game against Minnesota, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports. Banton was downgraded from questionable and is now slated to miss a third straight game with a right hip injury. Considering he has split time between the G League and NBA and the Raptors are at full health, Banton's expected absence should not have a noticeable impact on the rotation.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Questionable Thursday

Banton (hip) is questionable for Thursday's game versus the Timberwolves. Banton is dealing with a hip injury that has kept him out the last two games. However, he hasn't played for the Raptors since Dec. 19 while in the G League, so his status shouldn't affect the team's rotation either way. If he can't go, Banton's next chance to suit up would be Saturday's matchup with Boston.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Called up, but won't play Tuesday

Toronto recalled Banton from the G League's Raptors 905, but he won't be available for Tuesday's game in Milwaukee due to a right hip pointer, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports. The hip issue prevented Banton from playing in the 905's most recent game Sunday against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Prior to his G League assignment, Banton hadn't been a part of the NBA team's rotation, so he may just be rejoining the parent club to have his injury more closely examined by Toronto's medical staff.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Has hip injury

Banton sat out the 905's 126-123 win Sunday at Sioux Falls because of a hip injury. A hip contusion prevented Banton from participating as the 905 logged their fourth win. Hassani Gravett and Ron Harper are expected to be the starting frontcourt while Banton is sidelined.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Logs 22 points, eight assists

Banton logged 22 points (9-20 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and one steal across 33 minutes during the 905's 123-116 loss to Capital City on Tuesday. Unsurprisingly, Banton continues to be the 905's best scorer. The assist tally was more surprising, but what he recently logged could be a norm if Saben Lee (personal) continues to sit out like he did Tuesday.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Logs 27 points across 29 minutes

Banton logged 27 points (10-21 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 29 minutes during the 905's 122-119 win Monday versus Capital City. Despite not even logging at least 30 minutes against Capital City, Banton was the 905's best scorer as they improved their record to 2-3 since the G League Showcase. Banton has averaged 25.4 points across the five-game span.

  • Raptors' Dalano Banton: Scores 21 points

Banton logged 21 points (9-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block across 36 minutes during the 905's 129-119 loss Wednesday at Long Island. The 905 signing of Saben Lee is expected to negatively affect Banton's point output across future games. However, Wednesday's game proved that the guard should continue to be a valued scorer.
