Oubre contributed 22 points (8-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 34 minutes during Saturday's 109-98 win over the Hornets. Making his fifth straight start, Oubre hit at least 20 points for the fifth time in eight March contests. Saturday's performance came with Tobias Harris (ankle) sidelined, but Oubre's workload and shot volume didn't increase, just his efficiency. On the month, he's averaging 20.5 points, 5.6 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.4 threes and 0.8 steals.... See More ... See Less

76ers' Kelly Oubre: Pops for team-high 19
Oubre ended Tuesday's 106-79 loss to the Knicks with 19 points (7-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes. The 28-year-old forward led the depleted Sixers in scoring on the night. Oubre has started the last three games and scored at least 18 points in six straight, averaging 22.2 points, 6.3 boards, 2.5 assists, 1.7 threes and 0.8 steals over that stretch, but his usage could decline once Tyrese Maxey gets back up to speed following his concussion.... 76ers' Kelly Oubre: Leads in win with double-double
Oubre supplied 18 points (6-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-9 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals over 33 minutes during Sunday's 79-73 victory over New York. Oubre led all Philadelphia players in scoring and steals while ending as one of two players with a double-digit rebound total en route to a double-double performance. Oubre has hauled in 10 or more boards in two games this season, both of which ended in double-doubles. He has now posted at least 18 points in five straight outings.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Produces 20 points in defeat
Oubre notched 20 points (7-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes during Friday's 103-95 loss to New Orleans. Oubre finished as Philadelphia's second-leading scorer, trailing Tobias Harris by one point. The former didn't shoot particularly well from the field or from the free-throw line, but he still finished with his fourth straight performance of 20-plus points. The Sixers have been playing shorthanded, which has allowed Oubre to take on a bigger role offensively, as he's put up at least 17 shots in four straight contests. That volume may fall a bit once Tyrese Maxey (concussion) returns to action, which could happen as soon as the team's next game.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Back in starting lineup
Oubre will start Friday's game against the Pelicans. With Nicolas Batum (foot) and Tyrese Maxey (concussion) out, Oubre will return to the starting lineup. Across 33 starts this season, Oubre has averaged 14.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 30.4 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Hits for 25 against Grizzlies
Oubre totaled a team-high 25 points (7-21 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 9-9 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 34 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 115-109 loss to Memphis. The 28-year-old forward appears to be more comfortable in a lead role on Philly's second unit than he is starting. Oubre has topped 20 points in three straight games coming off the bench, averaging 25.3 points, 5.0 boards, 3.0 assists and 1.7 threes in 32.0 minutes a contest. With the shorthanded Sixers scrambling to replace Joel Embiid (knee) and Tyrese Maxey (concussion) right now, don't expect Oubre's usage to change as long as he's productive.... See More ... 76ers' Kelly Oubre: Explodes for 30 points off bench
Oubre finished Tuesday's 112-107 loss to the Nets with 30 points (11-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes. Even with Tyrese Maxey (concussion) out, Oubre came off the bench Tuesday since the coaching staff decided to play Kyle Lowry and Cameron Payne in the backcourt. That allowed Oubre to focus on what he does best -- scoring off the bench. Oubre is averaging 14.0 points per game as a starter and 13.3 points per game off the bench, so while there aren't any real differences, he averages close to five fewer minutes when deployed in a bench role.... 76ers' Kelly Oubre: Fires away in win
Oubre (shoulder) closed Sunday's 120-116 win over the Mavericks with 21 points (7-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block across 26 minutes. Oubre showed no lingering effects from the sore right shoulder that had kept him out of Friday's win over the Hornets, as he launched at least 15 field-goal attempts for the 11th time this season. The 28-year-old's ability to occasionally catch fire helps when the 76ers' go-to options don't have it going, but efficiency has long been an issue for Oubre. He's been especially unreliable from deep with Sunday's 1-for-7 showing dropping him to 30.3 percent for the season.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Cleared for Sunday
Oubre (shoulder) will play Sunday versus Dallas, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Oubre missed Friday's 121-114 win over the Hornets but will be back in action two days later. Though he started and played 22 minutes in his previous appearance in Tuesday's 117-99 loss to Boston, Oubre will move to the bench Sunday while the 76ers roll out a starting five of Kyle Lowry, Tyrese Maxey, Buddy Hield, Tobias Harris and Mo Bamba.... 76ers' Kelly Oubre: Questionable for Sunday
Oubre (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Mavericks. Oubre was unable to play Friday, but he remains day-to-day. If he's forced to miss another contest, Kyle Lowry could potentially see another start. Lowry had 15 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and 10 assists across 36 minutes during Friday's win over Charlotte.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Won't play Friday
Oubre (shoulder) is out for Friday's game versus the Hornets. Oubre has been downgraded from questionable to out due to right shoulder soreness. Kyle Lowry will enter the starting lineup in his absence. Oubre's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Dallas.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Dealing with shoulder soreness
Oubre is questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets due to right shoulder soreness. Oubre wasn't listed on the Wizards' initial injury report, but he now joins KJ Martin (ankle) as questionable. If both forwards are ruled out, Nicolas Batum, Buddy Hield, Kyle Lowry and Mo Bamba would be candidates for increased roles.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Returns to starting lineup
Oubre is in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Celtics. Oubre will replace Nicolas Batum in the starting lineup Tuesday. Oubre is averaging 16.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 33.7 minutes across his last 10 starting appearances.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Flirts with double-double off bench
Oubre posted 12 points (5-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and three steals across 29 minutes during Sunday's 119-98 loss to the Bucks. Oubre returned to the bench with Nicolas Batum getting the starting nod, hauling in a team-high rebound total while ending as one of five players in double figures in scoring in a losing effort. Oubre, who finished one rebound short of a double-double, has recorded eight or more boards in five games, and Sunday was his first such performance while coming off the bench. He has now reached double figures in scoring in 13 of his last 15 games and in three straight contests.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Back to bench
Oubre won't start Sunday's game against the Bucks. Oubre started Friday's win over Cleveland in place of Nicolas Batum, but the two forwards will swap places again Sunday. Batum is working his way back from a hamstring issue, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Oubre maintain a sizable role off the bench.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Starting Friday
Oubre will start at small forward in Friday's matchup against the Cavaliers. After a one-game stint on the bench, Oubre will return to the starting lineup in favor of Nicolas Batum. The veteran wing has averaged 14.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 30.7 minutes in 31 starts this season.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Scores 14 points off bench
Oubre had 14 points (6-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two steals in 33 minutes during Thursday's 110-96 loss to the Knicks. Oubre came off the bench for the first time since Jan. 10. Still, the veteran forward has found ways to make an impact regardless of whether he starts or comes off the bench, especially now that the 76ers are without their best player, Joel Embiid, due to a severe knee injury. Oubre has been averaging 17.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game since the beginning of February.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Will come off bench Thursday
Oubre will return to the second unit for Thursday's game against the Knicks, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Oubre takes a hit with the demotion to the second unit, but he should still be able to flirt with minutes in the mid-20s, so perhaps he can maintain some low-end value in deep leagues. Nicolas Batum will replace him in the first unit, but he's not the most attractive streamer on a busy 12-game night.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Anchors offense in win
Oubre amassed 24 points (10-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 41 minutes during Monday's 123-121 victory over the Cavaliers. Oubre, Buddy Hield (24 points) and Tyrese Maxey (22 points) led Philadelphia with just enough offensive punch to defeat the red-hot Cavaliers. Oubre's three-point shot has been failing him recently, but he's operating with hefty shot volume and showcasing the ability to get to the free-throw line consistently, creating a solid fantasy floor.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Kelly Oubre: Continues scoring
Oubre ended with 19 points (7-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds and one steal across 32 minutes during Monday's 118-102 loss to the Mavericks. Oubre has launched at least 14 shots in six consecutive games, yielding 19.3 points and 5.2 rebounds on 44.8 percent shooting over that span. Oubre continuing this level of production moving forward is unlikely, but he is arguably Philadelphia's third-most dynamic offensive contributor behind Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris, so his usage will rise during Joel Embiid's (knee surgery) indefinite absence....
