Nuggets' Cameron Johnson: Expected to play Friday
Johnson (ankle) is expected to play in Friday's game against the Suns, per John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.
Johnson appears to be primed to end a three-game absence with an ankle sprain. Less playing time should be open to Trevon Brazile and Bryce Hopkins on Friday.

Nuggets' Alpha Diallo: Could return Friday
Diallo (personal) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Suns.
Diallo was held out of Wednesday's win over the Pelicans due to personal reasons, and he missed each of the two prior games while nursing a wrist injury. Bryce Hopkins and DeMar DeRozan would continue to see more playing time if Diallo is held out of Friday's contest.

Nuggets' Cameron Johnson: Listed questionable for Friday
Johnson (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against Phoenix.
The fact that Johnson has been upgraded to questionable is a sign he's nearing a return, as he was added to the injury report as doubtful ahead of Wednesday's clash before being downgraded to out ahead of tipoff. He hasn't been able to take the floor since suffering a right ankle sprain Oct. 22 against the Thunder.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Goes for 15 points Wednesday
Braun tallied 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt), four assists, three steals and a block across 36 minutes in Wednesday's 104-91 win over the Pelicans.
Braun matched his previous season-high scoring mark and also delivered multiple steals for the third straight game. The main issue with Braun early in the season has been a lack of consistency -- he's failed to hit double-digit points in two of his four games, and while he had a strong defensive outing in this one, he also failed to record a single rebound. His playing time and steady role as a starter will give him a decent floor, but the lack of consistency hurts his upside considerably.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Posts double-double Wednesday
Gordon registered 15 points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and a steal across 31 minutes in Wednesday's 104-91 win over the Pelicans.
Gordon compensated for a difficult shooting performance by collecting 11 rebounds and converting seven free throws. His double-double was encouraging, particularly after struggling to establish consistent rebounding production earlier in the season. Gordon's ability to contribute on the glass and from the perimeter gives him useful fantasy versatility, although his scoring remains dependent on opportunities alongside Denver's primary offensive options. This was his first double-double of the season and just the second time he scores in double digits, so the next step is to show more consistency on a game-to-game basis.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Leads Nuggets in scoring
Murray posted 23 points (9-19 FG, 5-11 3Pt), a rebound, six assists and two blocks across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 104-91 win over the Pelicans.
Murray led Denver in scoring and extended his impressive start to the season as a reliable go-to scoring threat alongside Nikola Jokic. He was limited to six points in the season-opening loss to the Thunder on Oct. 22, but he's averaged 28.0 points per game while shooting 48.5 percent from three-point range. His six assists and two blocks added valuable fantasy production as well.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Posts another triple-double
Jokic finished with 21 points (8-13 FG, 5-5 FT), 13 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 34 minutes in Wednesday's 104-91 win over the Pelicans.
Jokic ended with his second triple-double of the 2026-27 campaign Wednesday. However, he wasn't perfect, amassing seven turnovers to bring his total to 16 on the year. The multi-time MVP is now averaging 22.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 9.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.8 blocks over 37.1 minutes per contest in his first four regular-season appearances, though he has shot an inefficient 21.7 percent from deep.

Nuggets' Bryce Hopkins: Reverting to bench role
Hopkins won't start Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
The rookie forward started the last two games in Cameron Johnson's (ankle) absence, though it'll be Trevon Brazile who replaces Johnson in the first unit Wednesday. Hopkins is still likely to see meaningful burn with the Nuggets shorthanded.

Nuggets' Trevon Brazile: Starting Wednesday
Brazile will start Wednesday against the Pelicans.
Brazile will replace Bryce Hopkins in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game, and he'll be joined by Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokic in the first unit. Brazile scored 17 points over 28 minutes in Saturday's 134-114 overtime win over the Pelicans, so it'll be interesting to see what he can do in a starting role in this rematch.

Nuggets' Cameron Johnson: Out again Wednesday
Johnson (ankle) is listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
Johnson will miss his third consecutive game, so his next opportunity to suit up will come Friday in Phoenix. Without Johnson on the floor, Bryce Hopkins is expected to remain in the starting lineup.

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Remains out for Wednesday
Jones (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against New Orleans.
Jones is reportedly progressing in his recovery, though there's still no firm timetable for his return to game action. He can be considered week-to-week until the Nuggets provide an update on his status.

Nuggets' Cameron Johnson: Doubtful for Wednesday
Johnson (ankle) is doubtful to face the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Johnson is on track to miss his third straight game Wednesday. Bryce Hopkins and Trevon Brazile will continue to help pick up the slack in Johnson's absence.

Nuggets' Alpha Diallo: Out for personal reasons
Diallo is out for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans due to personal reasons.
Diallo appears to have moved past a wrist injury but is now attending to a personal matter. His next chance to rejoin the Nuggets comes Friday in Phoenix.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Excellent start to season
Jokic logged 19 points (8-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, 11 assists, three blocks and one steal across 35 minutes during Monday's 134-114 loss to the Warriors.
Jokic led the team in assists Monday, setting a season high in dimes in the process. The perennial MVP candidate has logged a pair of double-doubles through three games on the young campaign, posting a full stat line each time out so far.

Nuggets' Ryan Nembhard: Plays garbage-time minutes
Nembhard supplied four points (1-1 FG, 2-2 FT) and one assist across four minutes during Monday's 134-114 loss to the Warriors.
Nembhard, a two-way player, is helping reinforce Denver's backcourt depth for the time being. He's expected to play for the Grand Rapids Gold once the G League season is underway.

Nuggets' DeMar DeRozan: Pours in 21 points
DeRozan ended Monday's 134-114 loss to Golden State with 21 points (7-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 29 minutes.
DeRozan led Denver in scoring despite coming off the bench, reaching the 20-point mark for the first time this season. The veteran forward also knocked down two three-pointers and contributed three combined steals and blocks. Although his reserve role could limit his overall fantasy ceiling, DeRozan remains capable of providing consistent scoring production.
