2023 NFL Draft trade tracker: A look at every move executed by teams during league's marquee event

If you blinked, you probably missed a trade during the 2023 NFL Draft. A record 41 trades were completed over the three-day draft that included six trades in the first round alone. 

The Detroit Lions were the biggest players as far as trading picks was concerned. Detroit made six trades during the draft. It played a hand in a quarter of the trades that were executed on Day 2. The Lions used one of those Friday night trades to select former Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker, who undoubtedly would have been drafted higher if not for his knee injury. 

On Saturday, the Lions made headlines again after trading D'Andre Swift to the Eagles two days after selecting fellow running back Jahmyr Gibbs with the 12th overall pick.
