Who's Playing

Atlanta @ San Francisco

Current Records: Atlanta 6-7; San Francisco 6-6

What to Know

After two games on the road, the San Francisco 49ers are heading back home. They will take on the Atlanta Falcons at 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday at Levi's Stadium. San Francisco is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the 49ers ultimately got the result they were hoping for last week with a 26-23 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The team ran away with 17 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the victory. San Francisco can attribute much of their success to TE George Kittle, who caught 13 passes for one TD and 151 yards.

Meanwhile, Atlanta was able to grind out a solid victory over the Carolina Panthers last week, winning 29-21. No one had a standout game offensively for Atlanta, but they got scores from TE Hayden Hurst, LB Mykal Walker, and RB Cordarrelle Patterson. QB Matt Ryan ended up with a passer rating of 136.60.

Special teams collected 11 points for Atlanta. K Younghoe Koo delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.

The 49ers are the favorite in this one, with an expected 9.5-point margin of victory. Their home turf has been no bettor's paradise, though, as they've failed to beat the spread in four of their six home games.

San Francisco is now 6-6 while the Falcons sit at 6-7. San Francisco is 3-3 after wins this year, Atlanta 1-4.
