The third quarter of Thursday night's Falcons-Buccaneers game was unofficially the opportunity for Julio Jones and Mike Evans to show off their best circus catches. After Evans' ridiculous second-quarter touchdown grab on which he simply out-jumped Robert Alford and impressively kept his feet inbounds, Jones went out and did the same to Bucs rookie corner Vernon Hargreaves III.

Check it:

Yeah. That's the good stuff, right there, putting the Falcons up 33-14. Al Michaels said it best, "Good luck trying to stop that." There's really just nothing you can do when a guy has that combination of size, hands, and body control.

On the ensuing drive, Evans came right back with his latest submission for Catch of the Year, an Odell Beckham-style one-handed snag on the sideline made even more impressive by the fact that he got absolutely walloped by Keanu Neal on the way down:

Good lord. That is just obscene. Again, the combination of size, hands, and body control is out of this world. Impressive stuff.
