LOOK: Titans' Taylor Lewan ejected from game for slapping official's hand
Lewan broke the first rule of football: Don't touch the officials
For the second time this season, Titans offensive lineman Taylor Lewan has been ejected from a game. Lewan should probably expect a fine too, after what happened in Tennessee on Sunday.
During the second quarter of the Titans' game against the Packers, Lewan slapped the hand of an official after becoming irate after an illegal hit on his QB, Marcus Mariota, delivered by Packers defensive lineman Leroy Guion.
Since NFL rules state that players are not allowed to touch an official, Lewan was immediately ejected.
The drama started on a first-and-10 play for the Titans in the second quarter. On the play, Guion jumped offsides, plowed through the Titans line and hit Mariota.

Although Guion was flagged for encroachment and unnecessary roughness, Lewan was still mad about the free hit that Guion took on Mariota.
While the officiating crew worked to sort things out on the play, Lewan started arguing with some other Packers' players. At that point, a ref tried to step in to keep things from escalating.

Instead of calming Lewan, though, the ref -- back judge Steve Freeman -- only seemed to make him more upset, and after Freeman intervened, Lewan hit his hand, which led to an immediate ejection.

The ejection was Lewan's second of the year. The lineman was also ejected in a Week 3 loss to the Raiders.
Lewan's ejection actually seems to be inspiring the Titans so far. With 10 minutes left in the first half, the Titans were leading the Packers 21-7.
