Pegula, the owner of the Buffalo Sabres, was the clear front-runner to land the team during the bidding process.

The rest of the owners clearly felt the same way.
Bills fans are thrilled about the change in ownership -- or at least the purchase by a group dead set on keeping the team in Buffalo -- and got #PegulaDay trending on Twitter.
