Raiders running back Rashad Jennings continues to thrive in the absence of running back Darren McFadden, who missed a second straight game Week 11 at Houston with a hamstring injury. Jennings has rushed for 340 yards and is averaging 6.0 yards per carry in his last three games since replacing McFadden during a 49-20 loss Week 9 vs. Philadelphia.
Coach Dennis Allen said after Sunday's game if Jennings keeps producing on the ground, then he will remain a factor in the run game, even when McFadden returns.
"(Jennings has) been a guy we've called on to come in and run the ball and he's done a great job at it,'' Allen said, per The Oakland Tribune. "As he continues to run the ball like he's doing, he's going to continue to get opportunities to run the ball.''
