Sights and sounds from Brett Favre's induction to Packers Hall of Fame
The all-time legend takes his proper place in Packers lore.
Brett Favre was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in a ceremony held at the Lambeau Field Atrium on Saturday. While we chronicled five of the most memorable moments of Favre's Green Bay career on Saturday morning, below we've got some of the best sights, sounds and tweets from the actual induction ceremony, courtesy of both the Packers and some reporters that were on hand for the festivities.

I thought Favre would only come back to #Packers when Hell froze over. Current weather in Green Bay is the opposite. pic.twitter.com/lpwoRzGu8e

Okay, that's a pretty good joke.
It's such a blessing to have had the opportunity to play with a legend! No one can take aw... https://t.co/DIcc0td0IJ pic.twitter.com/eA3Wy8zRBb

Is there anything Aaron Rodgers can't do at this point?
Favre: "When you look back and talk about my career, it will be from a Packers standpoint. You almost forget that I played for other teams."
— Ed Werder (@Edwerderespn) July 18, 2015
Favre when asked about whether he had regrets he did play elsewhere: "None whatsoever....I didn’t write my own ending."
— Ed Werder (@Edwerderespn) July 18, 2015
Of course, that was all prologue. The Packers also streamed the induction press conference live on their web site.

UPDATE 4:30 P.M. EASTERN
Chairman Emeritus Bob Harlan had some extremely nice things to say about Wolf, Holmgren and Favre.
Harlan now speaking. Points out how #Packers had had four winning seasons and two playoff appearances in 24 years before Wolf/Favre arrived.
— Jason Wilde (@jasonjwilde) July 18, 2015
Bob Harlan: After 24 years of being down and dormant we're now going into 24 years of being one of best in NFL.
— Pete Dougherty (@PeteDougherty) July 18, 2015
Bob Harlan: "I appreciate Brett as the greatest competitor I ever saw play. His enthusiasm reminded me of a kid on a sandlot."
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) July 18, 2015
UPDATE 4:40 P.M. EASTERN
Some quotes from Favre himself:
"All I dreamed about as a kid was being Archie Manning or Roger Staubach, who were my favorites."
"I never dreamed of being in the hall of fame. Never dreamed of having my jersey retired."
"I can assure you that my success is strictly based upon these guys behind me, the other teammates that I played with, and the fans."
Favre: "I understand this night is about me but I would choose to say it's about us." pic.twitter.com/slbuZ19uUh

Favre speaking now: "All of the dreams I had have come true and then some." #FavreHOF pic.twitter.com/96bP5MuhUo

Favre said he never stayed up at night wondering whether or not he'd be inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame because it was never something he dreamed of doing. Being able to play and play well was good enough. "I believe that what I did speaks for itself, and I'm proud of that," he said. "That's good enough for me."
UPDATE 4:50 P.M. EASTERN
Favre talked for a while about how much it meant to him (and his daughter) that the induction ceremony sold out in less than two hours. He even said that was more meaningful to him than the actual induction itself, because it showed how much the fans still support him.
Favre's daughter to Brett after Lambeau Field sold out: "They must really like you."

Favre on stadium tickets selling out: "If there were ever any doubts prior to tickets going on sale, there aren't anymore."
— Jason Wilde (@jasonjwilde) July 18, 2015
BF: i'm more honored by that than the HOF induction itself. that's why GB is GB, the fans.

UPDATE 5:00 P.M. EASTERN
More from Favre during the Q&A session:
"I wish we would've won more games. I wish we would've won more Super Bowls. But I did all that I could possibly do."
Favre on how he hopes to be remembered: "A good man who has definitely made a lot of mistakes but I think can relate to my genuineness."
— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) July 18, 2015
Favre: I haven't thought about (his legacy). What we did was very special. It's not four Super Bowls, but in my mind it's equally important.
— Rob Demovsky (@RobDemovsky) July 18, 2015
Favre on turning around #Packers' franchise: "I take pride in that everyone's used to winning. We're the ones that started that."
— Ryan Wood (@ByRyanWood) July 18, 2015
Favre: Didn't feel it until I walked into the tunnel and through the double doors and it was like I never left."
— Tom Silverstein (@TomSilverstein) July 18, 2015
In case you were wondering, Favre used to stay in the Radisson and order a cheeseburger and fries before every game. That was part of the Q&A session, for some reason.
On another note, Favre stated that Reggie White was the greatest player he ever played with, which is a pretty high honor considering some of the greats that were Favre's teammates at one point or another. He also busted out a Reggie White impression at one point. "One thing you're not gonna miss, is football." Favre insisted he doesn't miss football, but rather everything that came along with it, like getting chewed out by coaches and camaraderie with teammates.
