If you've never caught an episode of The League, it's a television show about a group of friends in a fantasy football league. These friends are all crazy and will do anything at any cost to win the league title.

Since debuting in 2009, dozens of NFL players have made an appearance on the show, including: Darren Sproles, J.J. Watt, Vernon Davis, Matt Forte, Robert Griffin III and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, among others.

On Wednesday night's episode, The League went Beast Mode.

Show creator Jeff Schaffer, who happens to be a Seahawks fan, explained to SB Nation's Seahawks website how they got Marshawn Lynch to come on the show.

During the explanation, several important things came up, like the fact that there was no way Lynch was going to wear makeup. Makeup is a pretty universal thing for guys to wear on TV, especially with everything in HD these days.

Here's Schaffer's story on Lynch's aversion to makeup (via Fieldgulls):

We were like, "Let's get you into makeup" and he's like "Nah, I'm good."

"You don't want anything?"

"No. Everything I do, I don't wear anything."

You can see Lynch's appearance below. If you watch the show, everything will make sense, if not, you can just appreciate Lynch's brilliant acting.

Oh, and keep in mind that this is The League, so although there's no bad words, there are some crude jokes that probably aren't safe for work.
